N A T A S H A   B E L I S L E

Natasha Belisle is a trained actor based in Toronto.

​

She has immersed herself since a very young age in the world of performance as a competitive figure skater and later, coach. Her skill in expressing narrative through physicality, and her ability to mentor students to excel in this unique genre of performance, brought her to expand her storytelling abilities through studies at Confederation College, where she graduated with a diploma in film production.  

​

Engaging closely with writing, directing and editing, (Finding your happy place, Bay Street Film Festival - People’s Choice Award) production has broadened the lens through which Natasha sees narrative. She also spent time as an IATSE camera trainee working as a 2nd AC to add gravity to her experience in film.

​

She came to understand that performance is her most effective method for sharing the truths that underpin stories, and so took on advanced acting studies with York University (Theatre), Second City, Lewis Baumander Studio, Armstrong Acting Studios, The Dirt Underneath, Bad Dog Theatre, Tom Toderoff Studio, Cindy Tanus Studios and a variety of private coaching over the years.

Natasha’s fierce dedication to her career has resulted in her being cast in and around Toronto on a vast range of projects including TV episodes, indi features, short films appearing in many festivals, sketch comedy, and commercials.

Honesty and vulnerability is what Natasha finds most important in connecting with people in art and in life. Her strength to reveal and share experiences push her forward and is a constant catalyst for her work. From comedy to drama, empathy and imagination have been her greatest assets and make for each experience in a project unique and imperfect just as in life.
